Two spices in your cupboard have been begging for

Cinnamon and cloves aren’t just for jollof seasoning and Christmas baking. These two have been used for centuries as actual medicine, way before your favourite influencer discovered them.

We’re talking better digestion, less bloating, blood sugar support, antioxidants on antioxidants, and your body just thanking you from the inside out.

HOW TO

Grab 1-2 cinnamon sticks and about 4-5 whole cloves. Add them to a small pot with about 2 cups of water. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. The longer you simmer, the stronger the flavor.

Strain it into a mug. You can add honey, a squeeze of lemon, or a splash of fresh ginger if you want to take it up a notch.

If you want it richer, crack the cinnamon stick a bit before boiling so it releases more flavor. Some people also add a pinch of black pepper or a star anise for extra warmth.
