After being away for a while, coming back home to the Philippines feels like a breath of fresh air. I love sharing these special moments through my photo dumps because they capture the little joys that make life so sweet. One highlight on this trip was definitely trying the Manam restaurant for the first time; their crispy yet tender lechon kawali is unforgettable and highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Pinoy flavors. Another fun find was the local cafes like After Tree, where the egg tarts literally melted in my mouth—a perfect treat to pair with a relaxing vibe. Shopping was a joy too, especially finding those Miffy and Sanrio shirts at Uniqlo priced so much cheaper here compared to elsewhere. It’s little things like these that add to the kawaii charm of everyday life. Also, I got lucky with a playful Jollibee x Pokémon collaboration pull and scored a Psyduck—how cute is that? Simple moments like these bring playful nostalgia to the present. Plus, pampering myself with a keratin treatment and haircut for just $30 was super satisfying; it’s amazing how good self-care doesn’t have to break the bank. Overall, sharing these snapshots allows me to relive the bliss of being home while inspiring others to appreciate the blend of food, culture, and small joys in their own lives.
