butter tteok in takashimaya?

Have been super excited to try the butter tteok / crispy rice cake from St Leaven Bakery at Takashimaya and I finally tried it today :)

They sell it individually, in threes and fives!

Rating: 4/5

I’ve tried different variations ( from bao’s pastry to the ones in Korea). This tasted super crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I tried this when it was cold and not heated up. However, it was recommended by St Leaven to heat up. I honestly think it will taste damn good if it’s heated up 😋 I’ll defo come back to buy more!!!!

We went in the morning and it was very misty ☁️ From our experience, the clouds tend to clear in the afternoon, so do go in the afternoon if you wanna get a sunny & clear view at Fanispan (but beware of the crowd!!) They also have lunch/dinner buffet which cost around SGD10 ~ #fansi
