今回の受診で一番気になったのが「眼科って値段いくらかかるの？」というところでした。うちは初診でいろいろ検査をして、自己負担が3,590円でした（領収書にも金額が載っていました）。検査内容や病院によって前後すると思いますが、行く前に費用感が少しでも分かると安心ですよね。 診察のときに聞いて印象に残ったのは、症状が軽く見えても“急ぐ病気”が混ざっていること。特に網膜剥離は、放置すると見え方に大きく影響が出ることがあるそうで、うちもその日に手術の話になりました。飛蚊症（黒い点が増える）、光が走る感じ（光視症）、視野の一部がカーテンみたいに欠ける…みたいなサインがあれば、様子見せず早めに眼科がいいと思います。 それと、検索でも見かける「目で血液の流れが見える」みたいな感覚。私も以前、明るいところで“細い線が動く”ように見えて不安になったことがありました。受診して初めて、見え方の原因が「目の表面」なのか「網膜」なのかで緊急度が変わると知りました。自己判断は難しいので、気になる見え方が続くなら相談が安心です。 白内障については、うちは網膜剥離が落ち着いてから手術の説明になると言われました。強度近視の人は眼の状態が人それぞれで、レンズ選び（単焦点レンズなど）も生活スタイルで合う・合わないが出るみたいです。運転を重視するのか、手元作業が多いのか、メガネをどうしたいのか…私は今から夫と「術後に何を優先したいか」をメモしておこうと思っています。 緑内障は点眼で経過観察と言われましたが、定期検診が大事と強く感じました。今回のことが落ち着いたら、私も眼科検診を受けて、眼圧や眼底のチェックをしてもらうつもりです。受診前は怖かったけど、“今の状態を知る”だけでも気持ちが変わりました。
