Day 26-27:Stewardship of Relationships

This month’s focus is being a good steward. When I was studying spiritual disciplines the one area that really stood out to me was being a good steward. It was understanding that my life and the things in it do not belong to me. It is all from the Lord and he has made me a manager of these things. It's my job to manage it properly for his glory. Whether it is money, time, friendships, or my children….. All belongs to the Lord and he has given us authority over it for a time.

Each day there will be a challenge for you to evaluate how you are being a good steward in a specific area of your life. You will have a scripture to reference, a reflection question, and an activity to complete. As always grab you a journal and for this month also a planner/calendar. The journal is for writing out scripture or prayers daily. The calendar will be to help you in evaluating how your time is spent daily. If you don’t have a calendar, you can just create your own in your journal.

Ephesians 5:15-17, “Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is”

I am so excited for this challenge this month! I pray that this challenge helps me and you to be a better steward of the blessings the Lord has given us.

Day 26 emphasizes the profound love Christ calls us to express, particularly in our deeper connections. It prompts you to evaluate your heartfelt relationships while also addressing the more complex ones. Day 27 shifts the focus towards forgiveness and love, even when faced with unkindness. Reflecting on past grievances allows us to release burdens by confessing to God and committing to demonstrate love persistently. This challenge is not just about evaluation but also about transformation – fostering a mindset that reflects the love of Christ in every interaction, whether with close friends, family, or those who test our patience. It encourages journaling and planning as tools to help track your spiritual growth and relationship management, thus developing a disciplined lifestyle steeped in Christ's teachings.
