From Struggle to Stewardship🤍

... Read moreBefore I truly understood biblical stewardship, I honestly felt like I was just floating through life, reacting to circumstances instead of intentionally living. It was exhausting trying to manage everything on my own strength, and I often felt overwhelmed by worry, especially when it came to my finances. But strengthening my faith and embracing God's plan has entirely shifted my perspective and actions. When it comes to parenting, it's so easy to fall into the trap of trying to control every aspect of my daughter's life. However, I’ve learned to embrace my role as a God-given guide, rather than a dictator. This means actively leading her to fulfill God's unique plan for her, and in turn, it helps me see how God parents me as His daughter too. It’s a beautiful reflection of faithful stewardship in nurturing a soul. Finances were a huge area where I often felt fear and anxiety. The idea of financial faithfulness completely revolutionized my approach. It's not just about budgeting or saving; it's about recognizing that every single resource is a blessing from God, and I am called to manage it for His glory, not purely my own. Paying God first through tithing and giving has been a cornerstone of this transformation. It’s a tangible act of trusting Him with my provision, which has truly helped me let go of financial worry. Understanding that my money serves God’s greater purpose has brought so much peace and intentionality to how I earn, save, and spend. My health is another vital area of biblical stewardship. I'm learning to honor God through what I consume, both physically and spiritually. This means making conscious choices about nourishing my body with good food, engaging in physical activity, and protecting my mind from negative influences. I'm striving to treat my body as a temple and vessel for His work, prioritizing my overall well-being as an act of worship. Seeing health through this lens makes it a joy, not a chore. Lastly, personal growth and my sense of self have undergone significant change. For too long, my identity was rooted in past mistakes or others' opinions. Now, I’m actively rooting myself in God's view of me, not my past. Overcoming insecurity and trauma isn't just about self-help; it’s about using His word as my affirmation and allowing His truth to reshape who I am. This journey of stewarding my own spirit has been incredibly liberating, reminding me of my immense value in His eyes. These aren't just isolated improvements; they're interconnected parts of a life lived with purpose, guided by God's plan. It's a continuous journey of strengthening my faith, and honestly, it's the most fulfilling way to live. I hope sharing my experience encourages you to explore what biblical stewardship looks like in your own life and how God's guidance can transform you too!

Number 1!!!!!!!!! Listen, I get so convicted during parenting. I heard Gods whisper “I tell you the same thing” all the time. Very humbling. ❤️
