When I first started playing, I kept seeing references to this incredible accessory that could pretty much turn your Monsties into powerhouses, but actually finding it felt like hunting a mythical beast itself! If you’re like me and were struggling to get your hands on one, read on – I’ve finally cracked the code, and I’m here to save you some serious grinding time. What Makes Accessory Royalty So Special? For those who are new to the endgame of Monster Hunter Stories 1, the Accessory Royalty is a legendary piece of equipment that provides significant stat boosts, often across multiple attributes. Equipping this on your Rider or even certain Monsties can dramatically increase your damage output, defense, and even critical hit rates. It's truly a game-changer for tackling those super-tough Elder Dragon quests or challenging opponents in the Battle Arena. Trust me, once you get one, you’ll wonder how you ever played without it! My Top Tips for Farming Accessory Royalty: Focus on High-Rank Rare Dens: This is where I had the most consistent luck. While regular dens might occasionally drop something decent, the rare, glowing dens in high-rank areas are your best bet. Look for dens with gold or rainbow glows – these often contain better treasures and more powerful monsters. I spent countless hours just flying around, spotting these dens, and diving in. It’s tedious, but the rewards are worth it. Target Specific Monster Lairs (Elder Dragons!): From my experience, the Accessory Royalty seems to have a higher chance of dropping from treasure chests found within the lairs of Elder Dragons or other significantly powerful monsters. Think about your late-game hunts – Nergigante, Rathalos variants, or even some of the tougher Fated Four monsters if they appear in MHS1. Clearing these challenging lairs not only gives you a chance at the accessory but also provides excellent materials for crafting. Utilize the 'Save Scumming' Technique (Carefully!): This might be a bit controversial, but if you're really desperate and short on time, some players use a trick. Before opening a treasure chest in a high-rank rare den or Elder Dragon lair, save your game. If you don't get the Accessory Royalty, simply reload your save and try again. It can be a bit monotonous, but it significantly reduces the overall time spent farming if RNG isn't on your side. Just make sure you save before opening, not after! Complete High-Rank Quests and Subquests: While direct drops are my primary recommendation, don't overlook your quest board! Sometimes, specific high-rank subquests, especially those with rare item rewards, can lead you to sources of valuable accessories. Always check the quest rewards carefully. I remember one particular quest that had a guaranteed rare item, and that's how I got my first really good accessory, even if it wasn't Accessory Royalty itself, it paved the way. Preparation is Key: Don't go into these high-rank areas unprepared. Make sure your Monsties are leveled up, have good genes, and you're well-stocked with healing items like Mega Potions and Life Powders. Having a Monstie with a good 'Expedition' skill can also help you navigate dens faster or find hidden paths. I personally relied heavily on my trusty Rathalos for quick travel and battle prowess. Getting the Accessory Royalty in Monster Hunter Stories 1 is definitely a grind, but the satisfaction of equipping it and seeing your stats soar is absolutely worth it.
