Hobonichi 2026 haul

✨ Journaling and planning have always been a constant in my life, no matter what season I’m in. There’s something so comforting about being able to plan, to dream, and to have a safe space to pour out my thoughts without fear of judgment. I’ve tried countless apps and digital platforms, but nothing compares to curling up in a cozy corner with pen and paper, just sitting there with my own thoughts 💭

After watching way too many YouTube videos 🫠, I finally took the plunge and picked up a few things from this year’s Hobonichi launch to upgrade my system for 2026 and I couldn’t be happier!

Here’s what I got:

✏️ Little My Everywhere weeks - health journal

✏️ En Route to Kumamoto Port at Dawn - personal + work planner

✏️ Original A6 Techo - daily journal

✏️ White Cats Table Decoration - cover for my A6

✏️ Yumi Kitagishi pencil boards

I’m honestly very contented with my purchase but now that I have an impromptu trip to Japan coming up in November, I can’t wait to discover more hidden finds/Japan-exclusive when I’m there 😌

(If you haven’t heard of Hobonichi, it’s a beautiful Japanese stationery brand that’s worth discovering for yourself 🤍)

... Read moreIf you’re considering diving into the world of Hobonichi planners, especially for 2026, let me share a few tips from my experience. The Original A6 Techo is fantastic for daily journaling because its compact size makes it easy to carry everywhere, yet it offers plenty of space for notes, reflections, or sketches. Meanwhile, the Weeks 2026 planners, like the Little My Everywhere weeks, provide a great balance for week-to-view layouts, perfect for those who want to keep track of appointments and goals in a straightforward and aesthetically pleasing way. One thing I love about Hobonichi is the quality of the paper—it’s remarkably thin yet resistant to bleed-through, which means you can use a variety of pens, markers, and even watercolor without worrying. If you’re into customizing, the pencil boards, like the Yumi Kitagishi designs I got, help keep your pages flat and serve as a lovely decoration. Using accessories such as unique covers—like my White Cats Table Decoration—adds a personal touch and protects your planner. For digital fans, you might want to consider the Hobonichi app or digital planner options, but nothing beats the tactile joy of pen-to-paper journaling that Hobonichi offers. If you’re curious about alternatives or comparing something like Traveler’s Notebook vs Hobonichi Weeks, I find that Hobonichi’s daily and weekly planners offer more structured layouts, which help keep my planning more consistent. Finally, since Japan-exclusive designs and limited editions often release during launches, don’t miss out on picking up unique items if you’re traveling there soon. My upcoming Japan trip has me excited to hunt for hidden stationery gems only found there. Overall, Hobonichi planners are not just scheduling tools; they’re a creative outlet and a comforting ritual for anyone who loves to journal, reflect, and dream.

Using a physical planner instead of going digital.
I bought 2 Hobonichi planners at the end of 2024 in the hopes of having a more focused, structured lifestyle. Safe to say they survived 8months of use and still looking fresh as new!! 🤩🤩 Planners help me stay organised, and also a quick way to write in any notes or thoughts i have. Was really
