Hey babes! 💖 I wanted to share a little update on my journey, especially since I get asked about my career path all the time! So, I made the decision to go to LPN school instead of RN school, and honestly, best decision EVER. 💅🏼
Here’s why: First of all, LPN school was only $2K (yes, seriously! 🙌🏼) and just 12 months long. Like, that’s a major WIN when you’re young and want to get started quickly in a career. 🏃♀️ I didn’t want to spend years in school and rack up tons of student debt before I even started working, so the LPN route was a no-brainer.
Fast forward, and I’m making pretty decent money for being in my early 20s. I’ve worked in dermatology 🧴 (hello skincare) and hospitals, and it’s been SUCH a journey. There have definitely been hard times, but this career has been a stepping stone for me when I needed it most. 💪🏼 It’s given me stability and confidence, and I don’t regret a single thing.
Of course, the long-term goal is to keep growing—I'm already going back to school for my RN and I’m loving where I’m at and I’m just so thankful for the opportunities this path has given me. ✨
