Iran refuses to negotiate with the United States, refuses to be intimidated.
Iran's chief of the talks and president of the parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, recently said that Iran does not accept negotiations with the United States under any duress.
He wrote in a post on X that US President Donald Trump is trying to turn the negotiating table into a "table of surrender," stating that
"Donald Trump, by besieging and violating the ceasefire agreement, in his view, wants to turn this negotiating table into a table of surrender or to re-justify the war.
We do not accept negotiations in the shadow of intimidation, and over the past two weeks we have prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield. "
