January/February Reading Wrap-Up
Will do a quick reading wrap-up per month to catch everyone up. This is what I read in January and February of 2026.
I have spent all of March, April, and May not only reading 1 book per week, but also catching up on the 9 books I missed previously. Reading physical, digital, and audio again. More to come soon!
I’ll also catch everyone up on the TINY bit I read in 2025 as I barely read last year.
😅😅😅
Overcoming a reading slump can be quite challenging, especially when life gets busy or motivation dwindles. From my own experience, the key to getting back into a reading rhythm is to set manageable goals—like reading one book per week—and to diversify reading formats. Switching between physical books, e-books, and audiobooks helps keep things fresh and flexible. For instance, I listen to audiobooks during commutes or chores, which adds valuable reading time without disrupting my schedule. Catching up on missed books can feel overwhelming, but breaking them down into smaller chunks or dedicating certain times of the day—like before bed or early mornings—can make the process enjoyable and less stressful. Using hashtags such as #readingwrapup or #amreading also connects you with fellow readers for motivation and book recommendations. Most importantly, allow yourself the flexibility to explore different genres and authors; this diversity often reignites passion and prevents monotony. Reflecting on my own progress, I found that tracking my reading not only helps maintain consistency but also fosters a sense of accomplishment. Whether it’s a tiny amount read in a tough year or multiple books in rapid succession, every step counts. Sharing your journey with an online community can enhance accountability and provide inspiration. Ultimately, patience and persistence are key—embracing the ups and downs of your reading life will make the experience richer and more rewarding.
