What was/is your first read of 2025?

⭐️Mine was The Twisted Throne by Danielle L. Jensen! This is the fifth book in the Bridge Kingdom series and, while it wasn’t my favorite of the series, it was an enjoyable listen.

⭐️My rating is 3.5/5 stars just because some of the plot points were predictable, but I recommend this series if you love the enemies to lovers trope, adventure, and badass women who fight their own battles.

⭐️Each set of two books follows a different set of characters in the same world, but they are NOT standalones, so I recommend starting at the beginning!

What was your most read genre of 2025?

Taking the chance to highlight some of my favorite reads from my most read genres in 2025. I enjoyed so many books so it definitely was hard to choose and when I was working in this I realized just how many books I didn’t end up talking about even when I meant to. #lemon8bookclub #2025bookre
