My favorite Changi memory! 🎀✨

Throwback to the Bellygom exhibition! 🌸 Taking photos with a 7-meter bear is harder than it looks. Here’s how I styled this look for the "Bellygom Goes Local" event at Changi T3:

The Fit: Kept it simple with denim shorts and a neutral ribbed tank to let the bright pink background pop!

The Angle: Since the bear is massive, have your photographer squat low and tilt the camera up to get both you and Bellygom in the frame without cutting his ears off.

... Read moreVisiting the Bellygom exhibition at Changi Terminal 3 was truly a memorable experience, especially for those who love unique photo opportunities. When I attended the "Bellygom Goes Local" event, I realized that styling and photography play a significant role in making your shots stand out. Besides selecting a neutral outfit to let the background and the giant bear pop, I found that lighting is another crucial factor to consider. Soft natural lighting or well-placed indoor lighting helps capture the vivid pink backdrop and the bear’s vibrant colors without harsh shadows. For anyone planning to visit, I’d recommend bringing a camera or smartphone with a wide-angle lens if possible. This feature helps you include the whole bear in the frame without distortion. Also, don’t hesitate to experiment with different poses and angles — crouching low and tilting the camera upwards, as I did, really enhances the sense of scale and fun in your photos. What made this event even more enjoyable was the lively atmosphere around the exhibit. Families, friends, and photography enthusiasts all gathered to marvel at Bellygom’s charm. The experience reminded me how creative photography combined with thoughtful styling can turn a simple visit to the airport into a fun and captivating story to share. If you’re interested in styling tips for photo events, always remember to coordinate colors that complement event themes and backgrounds. For public art installations like Bellygom, subtle and simple clothing often works best to keep the focus on both you and the art. Lastly, patience and a playful attitude go a long way — the more you enjoy the moment, the better your photos will reflect it!

Will miss this fun pop-up library
This was a one time pop-up library at Changi Airport and they have ended in Jan 2026. This is really a dream for all Star Wars fans out there. NLB really did a good job on this setup and I now then realised our library has so much books about Star Wars 🤭 #changiaport #starwars #singap
