Fix the new iOS 18 photo app!

if you're like me and you really don't like the new iOS 18 photos layout you can make these changes to fix the layout!

first, scroll all the way down and click on Customize & Reorder and add or take any of the options displayed for me i ticked off almost all of them because i hate the cluttered look and i found it hard to find photos or screenshots

second, if you've tried to airdrop a photo recently you would notice that instead of appearing as the latest photo, it would be automatically arranged by date, to fix that just click on the photos album and then the little icon on the left and choose Sort by Recently added! That's all hope this helps!

2024/10/2 Edited to

... Read moreThe iOS 18 update has introduced several changes to the Photos app, leading to mixed reactions from users. One of the main complaints is the new layout, which many find cluttered. To simplify your experience, start by accessing the Customize & Reorder feature in the settings. You can choose which album collections to display, allowing you to focus on what matters most without unnecessary distractions. Another common issue is sorting photos, particularly when transferring via Airdrop. Users may notice that transferred photos are not appearing in the order they expected. By selecting the Sort by Recently Added feature within the photo albums, you can ensure your latest memories are always at the forefront. This small change can significantly enhance your photo management experience. Also, remember that iOS frequently receives updates, so keeping your device updated can lead to further enhancements and bug fixes that improve usability.
