Tangulu

Such a fun little treat!

Ingredients:

2 cups of sugar

1 cup of water

Fruit of your choice

Ice water for dipping fruit in after dipping them in the sugar.

Tools:

Candy themometer

Bamboo sticks (soak in water for a few minutes.)

Small pot

Instructions:

1. Clean fruits off and pat dry, skewer two fruits on a bamboo stick, set aside.

2. Add sugar and water to a small pot, and let come to a boil.

3. Make sure to have a candy themometer, once it reaches 300 degrees remove from stove.

4. Start dipping fruits one at a time swirl as you dip, then let up and let the sugar drip off until it stops.

5. Then dip the fruit skewers in a ice bath, and onto a parchment lined tray. Repeat until all skewers are done. Let them cool for about 10 minutes. Enjoy right away.
