Organized a trip to Uthai and home for 3 days and 2 nights, so bring 4 Uthai + 1 Chainat to everyone. The following comments are our personal comments at home.
1. Heavenly Pang Herb Garden
At first I didn't want to eat here, I was just going to take a picture of the flower garden, but with a very hot weather, I saw an air conditioner, so I went to eat.
Overall, okay. I like very dry chili spaghetti. Pizza is like a croissant. It's delicious.
2. Hornet Restaurant
It is close to the school that goes to stay. There are both open zones and air conditioners. The food is delicious and very fast. Maybe because there are not many people. Delicious everything. Rhino fish fried at the waterfall. Anyone who has to order. Very delicious.
3. Shop 4224 home cafe
It is an air-conditioned room. The whole store has about 6-7 tables. It is recommended to call the reservation first. Very delicious. Too bad to go, so can order a few things. If there is a chance to go to Udai, will definitely go back.
4. Tak Ban Ton Shop
The pork pan is famous. Overall is delicious. Personally, I feel that the dipping sauce is secretly sweet. The taste is not organized. But the shop has chili, garlic, lemon. The food looks very clean. The staff is cute. The service is good. He booked the queue first. No need to wait. Who would suggest to enter the page to reserve the first queue first?
5. House shop at 79, Chainat Mon.
I secretly came to the Chainat shop, hahahaha. It is a Mon that has to go home. I found this shop. It is a teal on the river. There are air conditioner and open zones. The food is very tasty. The food is very delicious. The food is fast. When there are about 3-4 tables, I can wait for the food soon. The egg ink is very salty. I recommend to order. Seriously, I recommend all the menus. หลายคนถามว่า “อาหารประจำจังหวัดอุทัยธานี” หรือมาอุทัยแล้ว “ต้องกินอะไร” จากทริปนี้เราไม่ได้ตั้งใจจะตามลิสต์ของดังแบบจริงจัง แต่พอได้ลองหลายแนวแล้วรู้สึกว่าเสน่ห์ของอาหารอุทัยฯ คือรสชาติไทยๆ กินง่าย ไม่เลี่ยน และมีวัตถุดิบจากแม่น้ำ/ชุมชนเยอะ ใครกำลังแพลนเที่ยวอุทัยธานี ลองใช้ลิสต์นี้เป็นไอเดียได้เลยค่ะ ถ้าอยากเริ่มแบบ “ครบทุกรสในมื้อเดียว” เราแนะนำให้มองหาร้านอาหารไทยสไตล์บ้านๆ ที่ทำเมนูปลาเก่งๆ เพราะอุทัยฯ มีเมนูปลาน้ำจืดเยอะมาก รอบนี้ที่ประทับใจสุดคือเมนูแนวปลาทอดแล้วคลุกยำหรือราดน้ำตก อย่าง “ปลาแรดทอดยำน้ำตก” (เราเจอเมนูนี้แล้วว้าวมาก) ได้ทั้งความกรอบ ความหอมสมุนไพร กินกับข้าวสวยคือหมดเร็วมาก ถ้าไปกันหลายคน แนะนำสั่งกับแกล้มเพิ่มอย่าง “หมึกนึ่งมะนาว” หรือ “กุ้งทอดซอสมะขาม” จะได้รสเปรี้ยวเผ็ดตัดเลี่ยนพอดี อีกอย่างที่เราอยากแนะนำสำหรับคนพาครอบครัวไปเที่ยวคือ เลือกร้านที่มี “ห้องแอร์” ไว้เป็นตัวเลือกด้วยค่ะ อุทัยฯ ช่วงกลางวันค่อนข้างร้อน พอได้พักในห้องแอร์แล้วกินข้าวจะฟีลดีขึ้นเยอะ อย่างทริปนี้เราแวะ “สวนสมุนไพรปางสวรรค์” แบบไม่ได้ตั้งใจ แต่กลายเป็นมื้อที่แฮปปี้ เพราะมีทั้งอาหารจานเดียวและเมนูฝรั่งที่ทำออกมาดี เช่น “สปาเก็ตตี้พริกแห้งเบคอน” หรือพิซซ่าที่แป้งจะฟีลคล้ายครัวซองค์ กรอบๆ หอมเนย กินเพลิน สายคาเฟ่/ร้านเล็กที่ต้องการความชัวร์ แนะนำให้โทรจองก่อน โดยเฉพาะ “4224 home cafe’n bistro” เพราะโต๊ะไม่เยอะ แต่เมนูหลากหลายเกินคาด เราชอบที่เขามีทั้งของคาวจริงจังและของหวานอย่าง “ฮันนี่โทสต์” จะจัดเป็นมื้อกลางวันแล้วต่อของหวานเลยก็ได้ เมนูที่อยากให้ลองถ้าไปหลายคนคือแนวกับข้าวแชร์กัน เช่น “ต้มโคล้งปลาย่าง”, “ผัดไทยกุ้งสด”, “สามชั้นทอดน้ำปลา” ได้ฟีลกินสนุกหลายรส ส่วนใครชอบหมูกระทะ ต้องเผื่อเวลา (หรือจองคิว) ให้ “ตั๊กบ้านโตน” ไว้เลยค่ะ จุดที่เราชอบคือร้านดูสะอาด พนักงานบริการดี น้ำจิ้มอาจมีหวานนิดๆ แต่มีพริกกระเทียมมะนาวให้ปรุงเพิ่มได้ ทำให้รสจัดขึ้นตามใจ ปิดท้าย ถ้าขับรถผ่านชัยนาทกลับบ้าน เราแถมพิกัดที่คุ้มมากอย่าง “บ้านเลขที่ 79” บรรยากาศริมน้ำ อาหารรสจัดจ้านแบบทำถึง เมนูที่เราอยากปักหมุดคือ “หมึกผัดไข่เค็ม” นัวๆ กินกับข้าวคือดี และถ้าเจอเมนูปลาอย่าง “ปลาเนื้ออ่อนทอดกระเทียม” ก็แนะนำให้สั่งคู่กันค่ะ ทิปเล็กๆ เวลาเลือกร้านอาหารอุทัยธานี: ถ้าไปช่วงวันหยุดให้เช็คเวลาร้าน/โทรจองก่อน, ไปกันหลายคนจะคุ้มเพราะสั่งกับข้าวแชร์ได้หลายอย่าง, และลองสั่งเมนูปลา-หมึกสักอย่างแทบไม่ผิดหวังเลยค่ะ
