At 23 years old, I feel like I finally found myself. Before then, I was so closed off and kept to myself, not wanting to come out of my shell. Anxiety was holding me back from so many experiences, and I felt like I was just surviving instead of really living.
I discovered that I’m an introverted extrovert. I started to work and make connections at my very first job. I came across as quiet at first, but once they got to know me, I was far from shy. I love connecting with people and having fun. Before working, I had no connections and was scared to even try.
I also realized that I’m a lover girl at heart. If you treat me right, I’ll treat you 100 times better. I put my whole heart into the people I love, and that’s something I’ve come to embrace instead of hide. I fell more in love with my boyfriend. We went on a few vacations together and grew so much closer. We were maturing together.
