day in my life, travel edition ✈️🤍
slow morning, gym & finally making it to cdmx!!
Travel days don’t always have to be rushed and stressful. From my own experiences, I’ve found that starting the day slowly can really set a positive tone, especially when combining morning rituals with travel plans. For instance, I like to begin with what I call a “morning reset,” which involves some light stretching or gentle movement to wake up my body, followed by a refreshing shower to feel completely ready for the day ahead. Incorporating a gym session before traveling might sound intense, but it actually helps me maintain my energy levels and manage travel fatigue later on. Even a short workout can boost circulation and reduce the stress that comes with airport queues and jam-packed travel schedules. Once I’m ready, I prepare for the airport by organizing essentials and mentally planning the day. Staying mindful during transit helps keep a calm mindset no matter the delays or crowds. When I finally arrive in a new place like CDMX, the excitement of exploration takes over, making the entire travel experience rewarding and memorable. Sharing these little personal habits shows how a realistic, balanced travel day can look—combining wellness with the adventure of a new destination. Whether you’re a frequent flyer or a casual traveler, embracing slow mornings, morning rituals, and some form of physical activity can transform how you experience your journey.
