Outdoor art museum an hour from NYC 🖼️
Just an hour drive from the city, you can find one of the coolest art museums, Storm King Art Center!
It’s really popular in the fall for its foliage, but I think it’s a beautiful place to visit year round. I spent three hours here just wandering around and seeing all the different installations - it’s so much bigger than I expected.
You can get here by renting a car, or by taking the Metro North to Beacon and then calling an Uber. After you finish up here, make sure to stop by Matcha Thomas or Nilufer’s Home Kitchen in Beacon for a little snack for your trip home.
