Read moreDuring the Jeju fair at United Square Atrium, I was particularly impressed by the variety of local specialties, including Hallim Kalguksu, a delicious handmade noodle soup that truly captures Jeju’s home-cooked flavors. Sampling these dishes offered me an insight into Jeju’s culinary traditions beyond just the sweet treats. I also found the stall for Jeju silver belt fish, freshly caught and preserved using traditional Joo-nak methods, to be fascinating. The unique flavors stood out, making it a must-try for seafood lovers. Beyond the food, the skincare products made with Jeju’s natural ingredients like seaweed and honey were excellent finds, showcasing the island’s rich natural resources. If you’re planning to visit, don’t miss out on the Hallim Kalguksu—a warm, comforting bowl perfect for the season—and take some of Jeju’s famous tangerines or Hallabong treats home as souvenirs. This fair is a rare chance to immerse yourself in authentic Jeju culture right in Singapore.
