I'm going to speak blasphemy for a theatre kid, not the biggest fan of ALL of Waitress. There are some good songs of course but I don't care for the doctor at all and would like the show if he wasn't in it. There are some great songs, my favorite is "When He Sees me" and I'm curious of what other people's are.

New Witch On The Block by Louisa West: A woman leaves her abusive husband with her young daughter and move them both to a small town. This book really focuses on themes of community and motherhood. I got it through a stuff your kindle day and I really recommend it.

Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen: A girl goes to spend her summer at a beach and learns about friendship and love.

Witchcraft For Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix: This is the story of a group of girls at a home for unwed mothers trying to survive their pregnacies. They reccieve a book on witchcraft from their librarian and set out to protect themselves and their unborn children. This is the one that is going to confuse people. While it's a horror (I would call it horror lite) its main themes are really about community and making the best out of a terrible situation.
