13 Days Until Halloween: Witch Books

Okay ya'll it's time for your costumes to be ready and your candy bowls to start being filled we are 13 days out from Halloween so I'm starting a new series of posts about books and Halloween. This first post is: Witches!!!

I love witches, I don't identify as a witch but I have been reading Tarot since I was 12. Here are some of my favorite books staring witches.

🎃🎃🎃

New Witch on The Block by Louisa West is a story about escaping a bad situation and finding a better one. The second our main character moves to the cottage weird stuff starts happening and her neighbor keeps calling her his witch queen. A heartwarming single mom story of love and loss.

Grady Hendrix's Witchcraft for Wayward Girls takes place at a home for unwed mothers outside of St. Augustine. These girls make a deal and have to hold up their end of the bargain to make it out. This story is barely horror but still has scares if that's what you are looking for.

🎃🎃🎃

Enchanted To Meet You by Meg Cabot is a story of a witch banned from the counsel being called on to help them. It's fun, a little campy but a good read.

🎃🎃🎃

First Witch Of Boston by Andrea Catalona is a mix of fiction and non-fiction. She blends real diary entries with fiction to create this story that will impact you in so many ways. This is on Kindle Unlimited and is also one of the KU books you can listen to. That's how I enjoyed it.

🎃🎃🎃

Wicked by Gregory Maguire is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the good. It inspired a musical and a movie that has a part two coming out in November. I can't wait and will be rereading this very soon.
