A true friend should uplift you rather than pull you down. Signs can also include continual guilt-tripping into unwanted activities, showing a lack of respect for your boundaries, or regularly excluding you in group settings. Recognizing these signs is the first step toward prioritizing your relationships. It’s never too late to evaluate your social circle and make changes that support your mental well-being. Remember, the people you choose to surround yourself with should encourage your growth, not hinder it.
