Consistency is key; results don’t appear overnight. Avoid overusing actives, as too many can irritate your skin and damage the skin barrier. Instead, introduce targeted ingredients like niacinamide, vitamin C, or retinol gradually based on your specific skin needs. For daytime protection, I never skip sunscreen with an SPF of 30-50 to guard against UV damage and prevent further skin issues. In my experience, sticking to a simple, tailored routine that respects my combination skin type not only improved my skin’s texture and clarity but also saved me money by avoiding unnecessary products.
