CREATE STICKERS FROM PHOTOS | IPHONE/IPAD

2024/5/1 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! I wanted to dive a bit deeper into that amazing iPhone/iPad sticker trick because it's truly a game-changer for personalizing your messages and making your photos pop. When I first tried it, I couldn't believe how easy it was to transform any picture into a fun, custom sticker right from my camera roll! Let me walk you through it step-by-step, especially if you're wondering how to really make a sticker from a photo on iPhone or iPad. First, open your Photos app and find the picture you want to use. This works best with photos that have a clear subject, like a person, pet, or object. Then, simply PRESS & HOLD PHOTO on the subject. You'll see a white outline appear, indicating that your iPhone has recognized the subject. From there, a menu will pop up with options like 'Copy' and 'Add Sticker'. Just tap 'Add Sticker'! Voila! Your custom sticker is now saved in your sticker drawer, ready to be used. But it doesn't stop there! Once you've created your sticker, you can actually EDIT it to add some cool flair. Go to your sticker drawer (you can access this in Messages by tapping the '+' icon, then 'Stickers'). Find your new sticker, PRESS STICKERS again, and you'll see options like 'ADD EFFECT'. This is where the magic happens! You can choose from 'Original', 'Outline' (my personal favorite for a clean look!), 'Comic' for a fun, artistic touch, 'Putty' for a more textured feel, or 'Shiny' to give it a glossy, almost holographic vibe. I love experimenting with 'Comic' and 'Shiny' to make my stickers really stand out. Don't forget, you can also 'Rearrange' or 'Delete' stickers you've made, keeping your collection organized. Many of you might be asking, 'how do I add a sticker to an existing photo?' Well, the stickers you create can be peeled and placed on any photo in your Messages app – not just on new messages! Just open a photo in a message thread, tap and hold on your sticker, drag it over the photo, and release. You can even pinch to resize it or rotate it before letting go. This is fantastic for adding funny hats to friends in old pictures or emphasizing expressions. I've found this feature incredibly useful for creating custom reactions in group chats or even making quick visual notes for myself. It's truly a hidden gem within iOS that makes your iPhone and iPad even more powerful creative tools. So go ahead, experiment with your photos, add some 'Outline' or 'Comic' effects, and start sending those personalized stickers! You'll be amazed at how much fun it is!
