How to create digital stickers from Pinterest 🖌️

Pinterest has the cutest digital stickers! I have a board called “digital scrapbook stickers” with many of my favorites. Depending on how detailed the stickers are, I would either drop & drop the pic to GoodNotes and crop it there or save the image and remove the background in the Photos app.

Search for “PNG stickers” or “icons” to find cute digital stickers on Pinterest!

I hope this helps, and feel free to comment if you know of other ways to find digital stickers 🫶🏻

... Read moreHey everyone! So many of you asked for more details on how I get those adorable digital stickers for my iPad, and I'm excited to share some extra tips and tricks I've picked up. My original post covered the basics, but let's dive a bit deeper into making the most out of Pinterest for your digital sticker collection! First off, finding the perfect aesthetic stickers Pinterest has to offer is key. Beyond 'PNG stickers' and 'icons,' try searching terms like 'journaling aesthetic PNG,' 'vintage digital stickers free,' 'cute planner elements,' or even specific themes like 'cottagecore digital art' if that's your vibe. I love creating a dedicated Pinterest board called 'Digital Sticker Gems' where I save all my finds. This way, everything is organized and easy to access when I'm ready to create. Now, let's talk about the Photos app method, which is a lifesaver for quickly turning an image into a sticker. After saving your chosen image from Pinterest to your Photos app – make sure it’s a high-resolution one for the best results! – open it up. Here's a neat trick: long-press on the main object you want to turn into a sticker. You'll see a selection outline appear around it. This is your iPad's magic wand! Once selected, you can lift it right off the background. From there, you can drag and drop it directly into apps like GoodNotes or Keynote. It's incredibly satisfying to see it instantly become a transparent sticker! This really helps with how to copy stickers from Pinterest efficiently. For those times when the Photos app doesn't quite get the selection perfect, or if you prefer more control, GoodNotes is still fantastic. After dragging and dropping your Pinterest image into GoodNotes, use the 'Image' tool to tap on it. You'll see options to 'Crop' or 'Freehand Crop.' 'Freehand Crop' is my go-to for intricate shapes, allowing me to carefully trace around the sticker. It takes a little practice, but it gives you a perfectly shaped sticker every time. And here’s a super important step: how to save stickers on Pinterest or rather, how to save your custom-made digital stickers for future use! Once you've cropped your sticker in GoodNotes, tap on it again. You should see an option like 'Add Element' (sometimes it's under 'Share' or 'Export' depending on your app version). This lets you save your newly created sticker into your GoodNotes 'Elements' collection. I have a collection named 'Pinterest > my collection' where I keep all my favorite self-made stickers. This way, I never have to go through the cropping process again for the same sticker – just tap and insert! This is crucial for how to get stickers from Pinterest and make them reusable. If you don't use GoodNotes, many other note-taking or graphic design apps offer similar features. For example, apps like Procreate or even free online background removers can help you get that transparent background before you drop them into your preferred app. Just remember to always check the image quality on Pinterest before saving; high-res images make for crisp, clean stickers. Hope these extra tips help you further personalize your digital world!
