respectfully… shufflers are built different 😭
POV:
the EDM producer finally stops hiding behind the computer and tries shuffle classes 😭⚡️
Went back to Shuffle HQ yesterday for Ciara’s Ultra Beginners class and had an amazing time honestly.
Class was packed.
Good people.
Good energy.
A little humbling too 😂
I’m finally starting to connect some of the basic moves into combos now instead of my legs just buffering independently.
Still not ready for cardio olympics though because these shufflers really do not get tired apparently.
Huge respect to the community there. Looking forward to the next class already.

Trying shuffle dance for the first time was both exhilarating and humbling. I've always admired how shufflers move with such precise control and endurance, so stepping into Ciara’s Ultra Beginners class was a huge step out of my comfort zone. The packed class was a testament to the popularity of shuffle dancing and the vibrant community behind it. One thing that quickly became clear was that shufflers truly are built differently when it comes to stamina; they seem to keep going without showing signs of fatigue, which made me realize the physical demands of this dance style. During the session, I struggled at first with coordinating my moves, feeling like my legs were working independently or 'buffering' as gamers might say. But the encouraging atmosphere and positive energy of the class kept me motivated. By the end, I began connecting basic moves into smooth combos, giving me a sense of accomplishment and a craving for the 'cardio olympics' these dancers seem to thrive in. Reflecting on this experience, I understand why DJs and EDM producers might connect with shuffle dance—it’s a dynamic physical expression of the music’s pulse and rhythm. For anyone interested in dance, fitness, or just looking to try something new that combines endurance with creativity, shuffle dance provides a rewarding challenge. I'm excited to continue attending classes, improving my stamina, and becoming part of this inspiring shuffle community.
