Is it just me or does it seem like everyone is in their running era?! If you’re wanting to begin your running journey, but don’t know where to begin. I GOT YOU

1: create a music playlist ~ adding a variety of upbeat songs will not only help your run feel faster, it will also help to create a fun environment when you run!

2: join a run club ~ running clubs are a great way to connect with other runners, build community and create new friendships!

3: track your progress ~ it’s amazing to see how much you will continue to grow and progress over time. I like using fitness apps to track my progress on my runs

4: HAVE FUN!!! ~ don’t worry about times, your pace, etc. HAVE FUN! Soak in the views, jam to your music, partner up with a friend and just enjoy the run!

Start with a proper warm-up to prevent injuries; dynamic stretches can significantly enhance performance. Creating a dedicated playlist can add extra motivation, featuring your favorite upbeat tracks. When selecting songs, consider including a mix of genres that inspire you to push your limits. Additionally, joining a local running club can provide you with valuable support and encouragement. Many communities offer beginner-friendly clubs, where you can meet like-minded individuals. The social aspect of running can make the experience more enjoyable and less daunting. Tracking your progress is crucial, as it not only allows you to monitor improvements but also helps maintain motivation. Fitness apps are widely available to log your runs and set goals, ensuring you stay focused on your running journey.
