who NOT to invite to your wedding…

We all know weddings can be extremely expensive and the pressure from family and friends on whom to invite can cause you to go over your wedding budget. Here is a reminder that you DO NOT need to invite everyone and that’s perfectly OK.

Here is a list of people you don’t need to invite to your wedding…

1: coworkers (unless you are close with them)

2: neighbors

3: distant relatives

4: friends you are no longer close with or don’t support your relationship

5: kids

6: plus ones you have never met (you should know everyone at your wedding in my opinion)

7: the ones who can be “problematic” may be better off not being invited to spare the drama

... Read morePlanning a wedding often involves difficult decisions, especially regarding the guest list. While it's important to celebrate with loved ones, not everyone needs to be included. This article highlights seven categories of people you might consider leaving off the list to keep your day special and stress-free. 1. **Coworkers**: Unless you have a close friendship, inviting coworkers can lead to awkwardness and isn't necessary for a personal celebration. 2. **Neighbors**: If you're not social with your neighbors, this can save you both money and potential discomfort. 3. **Distant Relatives**: Inviting relatives you barely know or have no relationship with may feel obligatory, but it can also lead to unwanted drama during the event. 4. **Outgrown Friends**: Friends who no longer support your relationship or those you have drifted apart from may add negative feelings at your wedding. 5. **Children**: If your wedding is an adult-centric event, it's okay to have a no-kids policy, keeping it more relaxed and focused. 6. **Plus Ones**: It can be risky to invite plus ones that you’ve never met. A more intimate wedding allows you to enjoy the company of those you know well. 7. **Problematic Guests**: If certain individuals are known for stirring up trouble, it's best to avoid the potential drama altogether. By thoughtfully considering your guest list, you ensure a joyful and budget-friendly wedding, filled with the people who truly matter.
