New Hair Color At The End Of Video🌸🫶🏼
**disclamier, I am not a professional. Dye your hair at your own risk**
I like to switch up my hair color from time to time.
My first two photos is with light brown hair dye. It was dyed 3 months ago. So it washed out over time. But it's extremely close to my natural color. I would say if you have virgin hair, it could possibly be brighter for you. I did one whole tube of magenta dye, and a half of a tube of true violet. I also added 30 volume developer. But play around with the ratios to get your desired color. I think I may do more purple next time to get a plum color.
Also, if anyone has color deposit recommendations to get more of a plum color, drop them below. Even if I need to mix two together.

After my recent hair dyeing adventure, where I landed on a beautiful cherry cola color with my magenta and true violet mix, I've been diving deeper into the world of plum hair shades. It's truly fascinating how many variations there are – from a subtle plum brown hair color to a bold, dark plum hair color. If you're dreaming of plum locks, the first step is deciding which specific shade calls to you. Do you want a deep plum hair color that almost looks black in some lights, or a vibrant plum purple hair color that really pops? I've found that considering your natural hair color and skin tone can really help. For instance, if your hair is naturally darker, a dark plum brown hair color can look incredibly rich and natural, while lighter bases might achieve a brighter plum violet hair color more easily. Thinking about whether you lean cool or warm can also guide your choice, ensuring your plum color complements your complexion. When it comes to achieving that perfect plum hair color at home, it's a bit of an art. From my own experience mixing magenta and true violet for my cherry cola shade, I learned that ratios are everything! For a true plum, you might need to experiment with different plum hair dye brands or even blend a few shades. Many professional colorists suggest starting with a red-violet base to get that deep plum effect. If you’re aiming for a very vibrant plum purple, especially if your current hair is dark, you might need to consider a gentle pre-lightening step. Remember that 30 volume developer I used? While great for lifting some color, for a super intense plum on darker hair, a lighter developer or even just direct dyes might be enough if you're going over pre-lightened hair. Always, always do a strand test and a patch test first – nobody wants an unexpected outcome or irritation! For a rich, dark plum hair color, sometimes a brown base with strong violet undertones works wonders, creating a sophisticated plum black hair color effect. Once you've achieved your dream plum hair, the next challenge is keeping it vibrant! Plum hair color, like many vivid shades, can fade quickly. I'm constantly on the lookout for color deposit recommendations, and here’s what I've gathered from my research and fellow dye enthusiasts. Investing in a good quality color-safe shampoo and conditioner is non-negotiable. Washing your hair with cool water instead of hot water can also make a huge difference in preventing premature fading. I've heard amazing things about color-depositing masks and conditioners specifically designed for red or purple tones – they can be a lifesaver for refreshing your plum between full dye jobs. Limiting heat styling and using UV protection sprays are also key strategies I'm trying to incorporate into my routine. Regular touch-ups, whether with a permanent plum hair dye or a semi-permanent color gloss, will also keep your dark plum hair color looking fresh and salon-worthy, even if you’re doing it all yourself at home. It’s a commitment, but totally worth it for that stunning plum look!
