Did some e spinning. Finally getting the hand motions down. Also working on the wheat stitch pumpkins some more.

Other than that I went to a church book sale. Scored some great books on fiber art and poetry. I hope to make some projects from them in the future.

When I first started spinning, I struggled with maintaining consistent hand motions, but dedicating time each day to practice really helped me gain confidence and smoother yarn production. Regarding wheat stitch pumpkins, they are a charming seasonal project that combines crochet skills with creative flair. I found that experimenting with different yarn textures and colors can give each finished pumpkin a unique look, making them perfect for home decoration or gifts. Attending local book sales and finding gems on fiber art and poetry has greatly expanded my creative repertoire. Books on fiber art offer techniques ranging from spinning, weaving, to dyeing fibers, which can inspire new project ideas that blend traditional craft with personal expression. Exploring fiber art communities online and offline, such as forums and local workshops, is also valuable. Sharing experiences and learning tips from fellow enthusiasts has enriched my understanding and appreciation of this craft. If you're looking to start or enhance your fiber art skills, I highly recommend consistent practice, exploring diverse resources like specialized books, and engaging with a creative community. These steps have made my fiber art journey deeply satisfying and continuously inspiring.
