How I make my morning coffee :-)
I went from being a #dunkingirl to a #starbucksgirlie to making my own coffee at home. Don’t get me wrong, I still love a good Starbucks drink on the weekends!
I’ve never been one to save my money (#oops), and a few years after college when I had been making ~real~ money for a while, I still couldn’t save. I took a look at my financials and realized I was spending about $150+ a MONTH on Starbucks 😱 I was shook. I invested in a Nespresso machine and absolutely fell in love.
Long story short, stop spending so much money on coffee when you could make it at home! I can now use that extra $$ for other things that I want (or saving it)!
Making your own coffee at home can be a delightful and cost-effective experience. With the rising prices of coffee shop drinks, investing in a home coffee maker, like a Nespresso machine, can save you a significant amount of money over time. For instance, brewing coffee at home can cost just a fraction compared to what you might spend at Starbucks, and with a variety of flavors and creams available, you can customize every cup to your liking. Incorporating elements like flavored oat milk or specialized creamers can enhance your morning coffee ritual, making it a luxurious experience without breaking the bank. When selecting coffee pods, consider experimenting with different brands and blends, as many options are now available that rival coffee shop quality. Also, don’t forget the importance of maintaining your coffee maker for optimal performance and flavor. Don’t hesitate to share your personal coffee recipes and tips with the community. Engaging with fellow coffee enthusiasts can provide new ideas and enhance your own brewing skills!
