When you love โค๏ธ NYC

4/22 Edited to

... Read moreDuring my recent visit to New York City, I decided to follow a two-day self-guided walking tour of Midtown Manhattan, and it was one of the best ways to experience the cityโ€™s iconic landmarks and vibrant atmosphere. Starting early is key โ€” places like the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock observation deck offer breathtaking city views that are less crowded in the morning. Walking from Times Square to Central Park, I was amazed by the seamless blend of urban energy and peaceful green spaces. One of the highlights was exploring the Grand Central Terminal with its historic celestial ceiling, a spot often missed by tourists but a true gem worth lingering in. I also enjoyed the art and culture scene along Museum Mile, especially the Modern Art Museum where world-renowned works including pieces by Van Gogh and Warhol are displayed. Bryant Park and The Plaza Hotel offered charming urban escapes, perfect for a coffee break between site visits. For those who love panoramic views, Edge and One World Observatory are must-visit sky decks, offering 360-degree vistas that span three states on a clear day. Comfortable shoes are a must as youโ€™ll be doing lots of walking, and itโ€™s wise to book museum tickets and observation decks in advance to avoid long lines. Donโ€™t miss out on the High Line, a linear park built on a historic elevated railway track, combining gardens with unique views of the cityโ€™s architecture. New Yorkโ€™s blend of culture, history, and stunning cityscapes makes a two-day tour an unforgettable experience, whether youโ€™re a first-timer or returning visitor looking to rediscover the cityโ€™s magic.
