All of my bases start with @Bob’s Red Mill organic steel cut oats + organic chia seeds from the bulk section [Wenatchee Natural Foods].
After an overnight soak with cold water or plant-based milk, I add whatever sounds good that day!
I usually have a big batch of oven-roasted granola that I make each month on a large baking sheet, cool, and store in a half gallon glass jar.
On days I want to keep things simple, overnight oats topped with granola is a quick snack.

By combining ingredients like @Bob’s Red Mill organic steel cut oats with chia seeds, you elevate your breakfast to a nutritious level.
One simple way to enhance your overnight oats is by experimenting with various toppings and mix-ins. Seasonal fruits like berries, bananas, and mangoes provide freshness, while nuts and seeds add crunch and healthy fats. Don't forget to incorporate flavors through spices like cinnamon or vanilla, and natural sweeteners such as honey or agave.
In addition to fruit and nuts, consider adding a scoop of Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurts for a protein boost. The beauty of overnight oats lies in their versatility; each batch can be tailored to your tastes or dietary needs. For something different, try layering your oats with granola for added texture. This will not only improve the taste but also make your breakfast visually appealing.
For those interested in batch cooking, creating a large batch of granola to store in jars can save time. Just remember that oatmeal can be flavored in numerous ways: think cacao for a chocolatey kick or even pumpkin spice for an autumnal feel. Overall, the options are endless, making each bowl of overnight oats a customized masterpiece that offers both function and flavor!
