I’ve been publicly speaking about herpes since 2020, and one thing I see over and over in the herpes community is people settling for relationships just because someone accepted their diagnosis.
Accepting my herpes is the bare minimum.
I still need to like you.
We still need to be aligned.
We still need to be compatible.
Staying, settling, or rushing into relationships out of fear blocks you from the person who actually meets your standards.
If you’re struggling with shame, stigma, or self-worth after a herpes diagnosis … you don’t have to do this alone.
