・ Shiratama Flour
Pumpkin powder
・ Black sesame
How to make
① Mix water and pumpkin powder into shiratama powder.
② Make the body and face on the cooking sheet.
③ Put black sesame on the eyes.
④ Boil.
⑤ Put in ice water.
⑥ Sprinkle with mitarashi and eat.

私も最近この「ムキムキ白玉」を作ってみましたが、子供たちが見て思わず笑ってしまうほどのインパクトがあります。単に白玉を作るだけでなく、カボチャパウダーを加えることで黄色く日焼けしたような色合いに仕上がり、ユニークな見た目になります。 黒胡麻で目を作る部分が意外と楽しく、手作りならではの味わいがあります。作る過程で子供も参加できるので、親子のコミュニケーションも増えました。茹でた後に氷水でしっかり冷やすことで、ぷるぷるで弾力のある食感に。 みたらしをかけて食べるので、甘さも程よくてどんどん食べてしまいます。普通の白玉よりも見た目のインパクトが強く、友達にも褒められやすいのでパーティーやちょっとした行事のおやつにもおすすめです。 また、白玉を作るときにカボチャパウダーの代わりに他の野菜パウダーで色を変えても面白いかもしれません。例えば、ほうれん草パウダーで緑色にしたり、紫芋パウダーで紫色にしたりして、よりバリエーション豊かな『ムキムキ白玉』を楽しめそうです。 料理初心者でも簡単にできるので、子供と一緒に楽しく作りながら、季節の行事やおやつの時間を盛り上げてみてはいかがでしょうか。
