The best fluffy sweet cornbread 🌽

One of my favorite bread choices for any southern meal is my sweet cornbread. It has the perfect texture and flavor that can easily be compared to that of the famous “Jiffy” cornbread (which is my favorite choice if not preparing from scratch) @Lemon8 Food.

Ingredients:

1 cup flour

1/2 cup corn meal

3/4 cups sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 to 1 cup Heavy cream

Preparation:

*Heat your oven to 400 degrees.

*Mix together the dry ingredients and then add in your wet ingredients mixing well.

*Spray your baking pan with baking spray and then pour in your cornbread mix.

*Drop your pan on the counter a couple of times to get out the air bubbles.

*Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes depending on your oven.

*When done baking slather the top with butter while still warm and enjoy 😊.
