Layering fragrances is one of my favorite ways to create a unique and personalized scent. For this scent of the day combo, I layered DKNY Be Delicious Roll-On Oil, 061 L’Appletini Eau de Parfum, and Bath & Body Works Gingham Fresh Fine Fragrance Mist. The top notes of green apple, sugar, cucumber, grapefruit, and magnolia in DKNY Be Delicious blend beautifully with the crisp pear, clementine, and red berries from L’Appletini, giving a fresh and invigorating opening. The middle floral notes such as lily of the valley, apple blossom, jasmine, freesia, rose, and violet add a soft, elegant floral touch, making the overall scent complex yet harmonious. What I love most is how the base notes come together—woodsy amber and musk from Be Delicious, vanilla and musk from L’Appletini, and the soft musk and sandalwood from Gingham Fresh create a warm, comforting finish without overpowering the fresh top layers. The Bath & Body Works fragrance mist also adds a subtle floral freshness that enhances the clean, crisp vibe while being dermatologist tested, which is a plus for sensitive skin. This kind of fragrance layering works well for everyday wear, especially in spring and summer, as it feels light yet inviting. Plus, layering oil and perfume extends the scent’s longevity without needing frequent reapplication.
