How I test new Colors

I recently got a new set of art supplies and thought it’ll be nice to share with you how I test any new set of colors.
Before purchasing: 📺
1. I see a few youtube videos to find how artists use some supplies to understand how I can make use of them.
After purchasing 🛍️
1. I have recently enjoyed the benefits of having a swatch sheet. I created a swatch sheet for my 24 color set of acryl gouache just for the fun of it, but from the past 6 months or so it has come so handy to decide which colors to choose and which will go well together. So definitely will recommend doing that.
2. I pasted the sheet on the box itself, that way I wont lose it frequently.
3. I wanted to learn lettering for so long and finally planning to learn it with these markers.
4. When starting something new, it is better to go with student grade supplies instead of spending big amounts of artist grade colors.
