How I use my Stationery 🖊️✍🏼

For note taking here is how i use the following items:

Pentel energel:

I use this for bolding vocab and certain important information in my notes.

Muji .38mm

This is my regular full note-taking pen that i use for overall note taking

Writech sign brush pen

I use thus pen for all my titles and little doodles around the paper. This is also a good underlining tool.

Mr. Pen highlighter

I use this to highlight all the important key phrases that i need to remember for future test and exams.

Do you use this many items for a sheet of notetaking?

... Read moreHey fellow learners! We all know that feeling when your notes just look good – it makes studying so much more enjoyable and effective, right? Achieving that perfect handwritten note aesthetic isn't just about pretty pens; it's about a system that works for you. I've personally found that investing a little thought into my stationery and how I use it has completely transformed my study sessions. Let's dive into why using specialized study stationery can make a huge difference. It's not just for aesthetics; it genuinely helps with information recall and organization. When your notes are clear, structured, and visually appealing, your brain processes information more efficiently. This means less time trying to decipher messy handwriting and more time understanding concepts. For example, using a dedicated pen for bolding important points like key terms or definitions, as I do with a reliable pen like the PENTEL ENERGEL, immediately draws your eye to what matters most. This visual hierarchy is crucial for quick review and memorization. Then there's the foundation of your notes: your main writing pen. I swear by a fine-tip pen, something like a MUJI GEL .38MM, for all my regular notes + info. The smooth, consistent ink flow makes writing for extended periods comfortable, and the fine line ensures clarity, even when you're packing a lot of information onto a page. Neat, legible handwriting is a cornerstone of the aesthetic notes everyone admires. It’s not just about speed; it’s about making your notes a pleasure to read back later. For standout headings and a touch of creativity, a WRITECH SIGN BRUSH PEN is a game-changer. Using it for all my titles instantly elevates the look of my pages. Clear, bold titles separate sections effectively, making your notes easy to navigate. Plus, adding those little doodles or decorative elements with a brush pen can be a fun way to engage with the material and personalize your study experience. It also works wonderfully for underlining key ideas in a more artistic way than a standard pen. And of course, we can't forget the power of highlighting! My MR. PEN HIGHLIGHTERS are essential for visual learners. Instead of just indiscriminately marking everything, I use them strategically. After I’ve written my notes, I’ll go back and highlight only the absolute critical takeaways. Sometimes, I even use different colors to categorize information – one color for definitions, another for examples, and so on. This method of highlighting and underlining after the initial write-down helps reinforce learning and creates a colorful, aesthetically pleasing review tool. Beyond the specific tools, here are a few extra tips for achieving that coveted aesthetic: Consistency is Key: Try to maintain a consistent handwriting style and spacing. This makes your notes look more organized even if your handwriting isn't “perfect.” Utilize Margins: Don't be afraid to use the margins for small annotations, questions, or symbols. It keeps the main body of your notes clean. Layout Matters: Think about how you structure your page. Using bullet points, numbered lists, and small diagrams can break up text and make it more digestible. Clean Workspace: A clutter-free study environment can surprisingly lead to clutter-free notes! Ultimately, the goal is to create notes that you want to revisit. When your study stationery is chosen thoughtfully and used with purpose, it transforms note-taking from a chore into a creative and effective learning process. Give these strategies a try and see how much more motivated you feel to open your notebook!
