Spring inspired journal page 🪷
After putting this book on rest for quite some time, I recently prepared this page.
How much I love how it turned out, definitely can do better but good to get the creative juices flowing.
All I did was keep listening the song, She will be loved by Maroon 5

Oh, I totally get that feeling of getting those creative juices flowing with a new journal page! After seeing my spring-inspired spread, you might be wondering how to start your own bullet journaling journey, especially when it comes to choosing the perfect colors. For me, spring is all about fresh starts and vibrant hues, and that's exactly what I tried to capture with my hand-painted pink lotus flower design, set against those lovely torn book pages. If you're looking to dive into bullet journaling, especially with a spring theme, picking a color palette is key! I often start by thinking about what spring means to me. Is it soft pastels, bright blooming flowers, or the fresh greens of new leaves? For this page, the focal point was definitely that beautiful pink lotus, so I built my palette around various shades of pink, delicate greens, and touches of warm yellow for those small flowers. Don't be afraid to experiment! You can look at nature photos, or even use a color palette generator online to get some ideas. A great tip is to choose 3-5 main colors: a dominant one, a few secondary ones, and an accent to make your bullet journal stand out. Beyond colors, finding a theme really makes your journal unique. As you saw, I used lyrics from 'She Will Be Loved' as a subtle, personal touch, making the page feel even more special. Music, favorite quotes (like the 'be like the ocean' one I included in my spread), or even a specific flower like my lotus can be amazing starting points. Don't feel pressured to be a perfect artist; simple doodles or even just playing with different fonts for your quotes can make a huge difference. Those hand-painted elements, even if they're just outlines, add so much character. For materials, you really don't need much to get started. A good journal, some pens, and maybe a few watercolor paints or colored pencils are more than enough. I love adding textures with different papers, like those old book pages, which give it a vintage, layered feel. It's all about making it personal and a reflection of what inspires you to create your perfect spring-themed bullet journal page. Bullet journaling isn't just about planning; it's a creative outlet, a space for self-expression. Don't worry if your first few pages aren't 'perfect.' Mine certainly aren't! The joy comes from the process and seeing your thoughts and inspirations come to life on paper. So, grab your supplies, put on some music that inspires you, and let your creativity bloom this spring with your very own unique bullet journal spreads!
