But once I started deliberately shifting my focus away from what I didn’t want and instead placed my attention on positive possibilities and calm states, the overall quality of my experiences improved remarkably. The loop of Attention → Emotion → Repetition creates a feedback cycle that solidifies our lived outcomes. If you constantly observe and emotionally charge undesired situations, you keep recreating those circumstances. Conversely, by carefully selecting what you honor with your attention and emotions, like moments of peace or growth, you start to collapse outcomes that align with these intentions. The symbolism of the wave and particle duality from quantum physics also deepens this understanding. When unobserved, reality exists as waves of infinite potential. When observed — measured by our attention — these waves collapse into particles, definite realities. This analogy underlines how powerful our observation truly is. Practically, incorporating mindful awareness in everyday moments - deciding deliberately what to focus on, consciously avoiding 'worshipping' negative imagery or thoughts—helps break old patterns and manifest a new state of being.
