I am officially delusional and need psychiatrist

1/10 Edited to

... Read moreAs someone deeply engaged with shows like Stranger Things, I can relate to the feeling of blurring the lines between fiction and reality, which sometimes makes you wonder if you're delusional. It’s important to recognize that these feelings can be part of a broader mental health challenge. Personally, I found that openly acknowledging these emotions and seeking psychiatric help was a crucial step toward understanding my own mind better. Delusions, especially those linked to intense fandom or emotional investment in a story, can feel very real. In my experience, using creative outlets like editing videos with tools such as CapCut helps me channel these feelings positively. It gives me a way to express what’s going on inside, rather than just suppressing it. I also learned through therapy that delusional thoughts don’t define who you are. Mental health professionals provide strategies to distinguish reality from imagination and to cope with intrusive thoughts effectively. For fans of Stranger Things who might resonate with this, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed by the show's themes—it’s a sign to seek support and practice self-care. Ultimately, mental health is a journey. Embracing support systems, such as psychiatrists, friends, and fan communities that understand these unique struggles, can make a difference. Remember, wanting help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and you’re not alone in facing these challenges.

This image defines an otrovert as someone whose social energy depends on the quality of people, thriving in "safe spaces" with individuals they connect with, rather than being alone or in large groups.
This image explains that "otrovert" is a new personality label coined by Dr. Rami Kaminski, meaning "other-turn." Unlike introverts or extroverts, otroverts gain energy from their own thoughts and do not seek group validation.
This image lists signs of an otrovert, including being drained by the wrong people but energized by deep conversations with close friends. Otroverts prefer hanging out with their inner circle and don't need to be the center of attention.
