🏨 Store Name: Alice & Wonder
📍 City/Country: Chicago, Illinois

💸 Average price: Hats start at $34, each patch was $6. My total for my hat was $70 but totally worth it!
Visiting Chicago offers an exciting mix of cultural and scenic experiences that truly capture the city’s vibrant spirit. One of my favorite hidden gems was the Museum of Ice Cream. Beyond just a fun spot for sweet treats, it’s an interactive experience that delights visitors of all ages. I highly recommend trying all the free ice cream samples before buying from their café—this little tip helped me enjoy the full variety without overindulging. Another unforgettable moment was the Chicago boat tour by Wendell. I discovered the best way to soak in the city’s stunning skyline is during the golden hour between 5pm and 7pm. Booking the 45-minute tour at 7pm was perfect, allowing me to see the sunset hues reflect against Chicago’s iconic architecture. For those who want a longer experience, the 90-minute tour at 5pm is a great option to catch more daylight and dusk views. Shopping in Chicago also brought its own charm, especially at Alice & Wonder, a boutique offering unique handmade hats and patches. Although reasonably priced, I found that investing $70 in my custom hat was totally worth it because of its quality and style. Carrying a piece from a local store made my trip even more memorable. In addition to these highlights, I recommend exploring some public parking areas that unexpectedly offer great vantage points of the city. This can be a quick and free way to capture beautiful photos or simply enjoy panoramic scenes. Overall, Chicago combines urban excitement with personal, local touches that make each visit special. Whether you’re a first-time traveler or a returning fan, these spots and tips will enrich your Chicago adventure.
