TrashBench Channel captures GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and RTX 5050 screen cards to face-to-face strength championships, testing through games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 1440p resolution.

The result is that the RTX 5050 can win three framerates, and the Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a slightly better 1080 Ti. The 3DMark Time Spy test results are equally different, with the RTX 5050 scoring 9,917 points, slightly superior to the 1080 Ti's 9,763 points.

Then the two cards were clocked together. The GTX 1080 Ti side was captured in a full water suit. The RTX 5050 used a modification of the CPU's Tower heat sink. The RTX 5050 was able to push the speed from about 2.8 GHz to as far as 3.3 GHz, increasing the framerate by about 17%, while the GTX 1080 Ti, although fully customized, achieved only about 2,200 MHz, resulting in a framerate rate of only about 3%.

Even though the RTX 5050 is just the beginning of the new series, it has surpassed the former flagship GTX 1080 Ti beautifully. Anyone who still thinks that the young model can't fight the old model may have to look again. The 1080 Ti side is considered to have served for more than 8 years and is running out of driver support soon. It's time to let the old model rest.
