Order Print Work to Any Machine via Cloud
Microsoft announced the release of a new feature, Pull Print, on the Universal Print service for Microsoft 365 users to use for free. This feature makes printing documents more convenient and flexible because we can print them from anywhere and pick up the documents at any printer later without having to choose a machine in advance.

Just walk to the ready printer, then confirm the identity of the enterprise system and press print. Microsoft calls this "Universal Print Anywhere," which is similar to Secure Print in some printers, but different from Pull Print, it works on all machines without specifying it.

The main advantage is security, because documents are not printed, reducing the risk of archives being opened without permission, and being extremely flexible because the printer is not required to be printed immediately. It also saves paper and ink, because it is printed only if the user actually reaches the machine, reducing the problem of printed documents.

Administrators are easier to manage. Printers can be registered directly to Universal Print or through Universal Print Connector with secure release and authentication settings as needed. Also choose which printers can be among those that use the Pull Print feature. Microsoft also revealed that it will collaborate with printers in the future to make their use smoother and more compatible.

Universal Print Anywhere now supports both Windows and macOS. It uses cross-platform instantly. It is an update that addresses both workers who need to print documents from multiple locations, and admins who need security with easier management.
