The result was that the firmware used was not a sold version, but a Beta version of the firmware, also known as engineering preview firmware, that was not complete, so that the SSD deteriorated and broke down more easily than usual. This became a hot topic because it was alluded to major controller manufacturer Phison, causing the latest company to officially clarify.

Phison stated that the team reviewed the same SSD that the PCDIY! group used in the test and confirmed that the experimental firmware was not actually used in the product sold, such as CORSAIR FORCE SERIES MP600 SSD 2TB or other E16 controller-based models that were sold to the general consumer. Phison also retried the test on the actual SSD model, writing brutal data on both 100GB and 1TB. According to the same method, no damage or crashing occurred at all.

All in all, this problem only occurs when using an imperfect experimental firmware, not directly related to Windows 11, and does not affect the commercially sold version of the SSD. Simply put, if you buy an SSD from Corsair or a brand using a commonly available version of the Phison E16 controller, don't worry, because the firmware attached to the machine has passed the test is not the one that has encountered the problem.
