Wait for BIOS updates through Armory Crate.

ASUS posted a series of user issues. Notebook ROG freezes, twitches, or choppy sounds that make it uneasy to use. This problem is found in both Zephyrus, Strix, and Scar releases from 2021 to the latest release. Despite many attempts to solve it by updating the driver or emptying the new Windows, the symptoms remain.

ASUS has confirmed that it has acknowledged the problem and is rushing to investigate the cause to find a solution, promising to continue updating progress through official support channels, at least enough to ease users that the company is not ignoring it.

Interestingly, someone found that these symptoms can be caused by the inefficient ACPI Firmware code in the BIOS, causing Windows to mismanage workload, resulting in retardation, and sometimes even locking workload to a single CPU, which can be called buying a strong machine, but it has the same performance as the Single-Core era.

Moreover, there was a MUX Switch issue that made the problem clear because the system tried to turn on and off the split screen card too often to destabilize the machine.

Although there is no permanent solution yet, some people are starting to see new BIOS updates or firmware that alleviate the symptoms. It will be a long time to follow up on when ASUS will release the real solid solution.
