This round of free giveaways is Prologue: Go Wayback!, an open world survival game from Brendan Greene's studio PlayerUnknown Productions, also known by many as PlayerUnknown, a former PUBG creator who spun off from KRAFTON to complete his own large virtual world game projects and technology.

Originally, Prologue: Go Wayback! was not a free game, but it was sold on Early Access before, but after a period of development, the project came to an end because the team's funding situation could not continue in its original form. PlayerUnknown Productions decided to stop developing, restructure the team, and turn the game into a free-to-play game instead.

The game itself comes in a semi-Rogue-like survival line on a large open world. The highlight is that there are no guns, no typical survival game-style enemies, because our main opponent is "nature," both changeable terrain, brutal weather, cold, hunger, and survival decisions in each situation.

Players are released into the wider world without quests, without guides, without detailed instructions, with only maps and compasses as the main aids. The goal is to try to travel, explore, find supplies, dodge bad weather, and survive as long as possible.

Although the game itself didn't go on until the final vision put in place by the team, for those who prefer realistic survival games, emphasizing atmosphere, exploration, and natural pressure over combat shooting, Prologue: Go Wayback! is still another worth trying, especially now that it's free to play on PC.
