Love life, don't think of fighting human wife
A customer in China sent a creased ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER card to the repairman after the card owner quarreled with his wife, and the wife beat the computer with a hammer to hit the screen card installed in the machine, causing the card to twist. The PCB circuit board was damaged at several points. The overall condition is almost infinite.
.
The sent screen card is very damaged. Both the backplate and the PCB have multiple cracks. The owner tried to deliver the claim to the ASUS center, but the center does not accept the claim because it is damage caused by the user's own actions.
.
After receiving the card, the Jang mechanic immediately called the owner if the card was smashed, the computer was on, because if smashed while the machine was still running, it could cause a short fire that damaged the GPU and VRAM. But if the machine was closed, the chances of the main chip surviving were greater, even if the board was heavily damaged.
.
Upon initial inspection, it was found that the 1.8V light circuit had zero ground resistance, resembling a shock, but the mechanic estimated that it could be a "pseudo-shock" from a broken and deformed twisted PCB, causing the internal circuit pattern to be pressed against each other, and decided to use a way to lift the chip and key parts to the new board instead.
.
Finally, after moving the board, the screen card can be turned on and used normally, but the damaged original cooling unit cannot be repaired, thus requiring a cooling kit from the Lenovo screen card that came with the computer brand instead. At least this card is still available again.
.
After the clip was published, many netizens didn't just focus on fixing it, but commented on the situation in the card owner's house. Some said, "Fortunately, the hammer hit the screen card, not the husband's head," while some teased, "Don't get a divorce, you'll continue to hurt other men." It became another computer repair case that was a pity, incredible, and invited many gamers to be goosebumps.
